Description
This is a thumbnail version of all the "Objects" photographs. I felt it was necessary to display them separately as well as together, because I shot them all with the intention of placing them together in a series. It was actually an assignment for a color photography class.

It took me a while to develop the concept. But I ended up with these 15 images, and the idea of showing a bunch of seemingly unrelated objects, stripping away function and overall form, leaving only line, form, shape, and color. In some way, all of the 15 objects photographed are related.

They were all shot with a 35mm SLR with a standard lens. I wish I'd had access to a micro, but I didn't so I did what I could with what I had. Because it was a film camera and not a digital, I was forced to print them in the darkroom and then scan them into the computer... Which is why the quality on some of them is not as good as the actual prints are. The scanner was dirty. But hopefully you get the point...

Definitely not my *typical* work.... but nobody would know since I've never posted anything else.

You'll see what I mean eventually.
