And then we have Sam and Daisy; My personal headcanon for Mew is that it has the DNA for all pokemon because it hunts them and that is it's purpose. So when pokemon species evolve or mutate, it will kill one of them (and only one). When scientists create new species, Mew will kill the first one. So with June, there is only one and there will only ever be one so part of Daisy's job as her "handler" is to make sure that Mew doesn't kill June. John helps when he's around.
But yeah. There's that.

(but yeah, John is like, "can't have you attracting more attention to us than I do")

That is true. The Prologue is so far away ago, yes. Does seem like a bit of a 'blind idiot' jump for that guy then though, you'd think he would have noticed by the time he started talking XD
