It is really amazing, the work on the metal textures is quite detailed. How did you do that blue light? It's what impresses me the most, the idea of having those lines inside that blue light

I made a texture first with some brushes and stuff and then brought it with the one tool into that position ^^

I really like the style of it.
Like Skulltech, the crossover from light to dark colors are very beautyfull and what i'm trying to is a painting were you don't see the lineart.
If I look at your art it look almost real and if I look at my art you can see the lineart, but when I remove the lineart the whole art looks like crap.
I want to know how to make it look realistic, and your art is very inspiring

i had the same problem some time ago
1. overpaint the linart with your colour
2. use a really big pic-size
(this pic is originally 3000x1000)
3. pick often the colour new and darker/lighter
4. try to paint the characteristics of the material
(metalreflections - small strong highlights
clothes - bigger brushes, big light highlights
and so on)
5. paint some very simple objekts as a training

I have much experience with pencil and it's very easy for me to make shadows with pencils.
But things look different when i'm trying to paint digital.
I thinks my problem is that I am using wrong brushes to paint.
The Brush I'm using is hard-edged airbrush.

like a circle or like a soft spray?
I use the hard edged round brush to 85%
trust me if you use too much custombrushes you loose skill

I used Hard edged Round Airbrush
And when I do shading I set the flow to 50%
I had that experience once with custom brushes and since then I don't use them any more.

Very cool
love the depth-of-field effect, really adds, well, depth to it. Only comment might be that there should probably be a little more blue light falloff onto the left side of the skull, would I think hold the piece together a little more solidly. (oh, and he has way too many teeth).
Great texture in it though, everything looks very believable!
