Description
I was drawing a girl in kimonoand then I though: hey, maybe a tail would fit her!
and then I had to think of a nickname I use sometimes on sites, KitsuneGeneral (as the General of all kitsunes or something
I liked how it turned out, especially the face, though the look on her face is like: my teeth hurt
but whatever
and I spend REALLY long on coloring the hair
and I know that she doesn't have fox ears.... but I forgot them :3

I chose to favorite this piece because it's very simplistic in composition, but the detail paid attention to on the figure is such that it's sweet and melancholy and well done. I also like foxes. Very good work. Keep it up, please.

okay, we'll see :3
I might not know the right terms because my photoshop is in Dutch, but I will try to use the right terms :3
I can explain step for step what I do when I use photoshop, so it won't be messy
step 1: scan and open it in photoshop (yup, that is step 1 xD)
step 2: resize it to a good size that is easy to work with
step 3: go to "picture" (I dunno if that is the right term) -> "ajustments" -> "autocontrast", here is a screeny [link]
step 4: to make the lineart look pretty, I always duplicate the layer "background" (click on the bg layer with the right mousebutton) then a screen pops up and then click "OK" [link]
step 5: set the top layer on "hard light" [link]
step 6: gussian (don't know how to write that in english ) blur the top layer as much as you like [link]
step 7: go to "layer" (at the top of the screen) -> "make one layer" (at the bottom of the list) [link]
step 8: you can give your lineart the color you like with "picture" -> "ajustments" -> the link in the list under the first line [link]
okay, so that was the lineart :3
you can skip that part if you like
now the other things ^_^
step 1: go to "layer" -> "new" -> "layer out of background" [link]
step 2: set the layer on "multiply" [link]
step 3: make a new layer (click on the little paper at the bottom of the part where you can see all your layers, or go to "layer" -> "new" -> "layer")
step 4: drag that new layer under the bg-layer and you can start coloring under the lineart now, I make for every new color a new layer, I think that handy with erasing [link]
well, that is mainly what I do
or something

This is a *very* good-looking character, with an interesting kimono that is opened at the shoulders.
I like your character, lineart and coloring styles!
Great job!

Please come see them!
