I'm not too sure I like this photograph; it looks a little too eerie and doesn't quite capture the colors right. But, it's hard to capture Labradorite, since its' normally a pale to dark gray, with a rainbow sheen!
Labradorite is a stone that's very close to my heart, because a dear friend of mine chose it as his personal symbol. So every time I see it, I think of him.

I love this stone. Amazing colours, and very nice feeling.
The shot is really great, in my opinion, because it's hard to take a nice picture of the labradorite's reflects, and we can see really nice colours on your

Labradorite is one of my favourite minerals. I just love how it captures light.

I recently acquired some pieces of spectrolite from Finland, where my sister-in-law is from. It's a rare variety of labradorite feldspar which exhibits intense labradorescence/schiller/iridescence. It's amazing stuff! If you ever get a chance, you should acquire a piece as it puts normal labradorite to shame.

So it's called Spectrolite, if I wanted to look for it online? I have to see it now. XD

Yep, that's the name - Spectrolite. It usually refers specifically to the intensely-colored labradorite found in Finland.
