We had an angelic character in feather patterned lace once- i think we'll probably re-use the costume design at some point. it's not really that hard just very very time consuming

^^ Well we redid the story about a million times before finally shelving it - I wish I could find our rework from about 3 years ago - it was quite pretty

Wonderland is one of those things that bugs me from time to time. I go back and wonder how I would do it now. I think I'd make everything darker and grittier. I consider going back and redrawing the old pics I have in my style now every once in a while.

Was it dark and gritty? I remember it being sort of fluffy in places o.o There were some dark parts, too, I guess....WOW.

You had dead girl - flowers. We had sexy aboriginal flowers. We had a creepy relationship between the cross dressing QoH and the Rabbit go very bad after Hearts and Jabberwock went to war. I don't think we have any of the pages anymore just a chapter sheet from a much fluffier moment. We turned it into a story that had 'Who Wants to Live Forever' as the main theme ^^. It was pretty dark. Maya - our Alice did a number on the battlefield for the final battle that caused the Jabberwock to 'reveal his true form' and Rabbit died in the ensuing battle to be brought back back the love and belief of the Dormouse ^^ who just wanted everyone to have a happy ending. It was very sweet - then we went on a Snark hunt to get Maya and the boys home.

I think my QoH was a little girl who was being used as a pawn by her handlers and staff....And my Jabberwock was the last of his kind who was originally king. Or something like that....
....

That was your Jabberwock - we kept that in ^^. Our Queen was obsessed with his dead sister and took her place - literally and fully and was quite sadistic.

♥ I live to come up with story complications ^^. The Cheshire went from tiny odd boy-cat thing to a shapeshifting creature that at one time would be a tiny cute boy, another time be a 6 foot 6 god of a man and even a few times be a woman or a big cat - he also left to have his own adventure and find 'his people.' Hmmm lets see Rabbit got a CREEPY mouthless girl names Mary Anne as his servant girl, a brother in a White Knight who was anything but chivalrous. The Jabbrewock discovered there were survivors to his race - and that they were planning war on his beloved country and get this....
Hearts HAS to have a Queen - they can have a King to but the HAVE to have a Queen - when the Queen dies in the big battle that .... honor - falls on Rabbit's shoulders making his official title Queen of Hearts.
I think the entire cast died right there - too much the story was awesome though ^^. It flowed logically at the time.
