Again serious question.Last time the vote was inconclusive, so here's another angle of Tara show casing her cheeks
Let me know in the comments below, if they look right or need further tweaking. I did play with the curves a little, they do tend to look a little off on default V4.
Also she's sporting another set of heels because full nudity is just a little to obscene, isn't it!

This is has nothing to do with their stance on sexual themes on DA itself, their current restrictions are their choice and are fine in my opinion
I am really not sure I like Deviantart regulating .ART .
Do we really need to segment art?
Do we really need to have somebody governing, telling us what art is and what it is not?
Do we really need someone judging and labeling who deserves to be sanctioned as an artist?
I am for freedom of expression in any and all forms. In the spirit of the internet, everything is art and I for one believe everyone should be able to express themselves without being judged or labeled.
And yes! I'm specifically referring to erotic and pornographic art, which I happen to think is the most powerful and precious of all art forms. Yes, that is my opinion only and many would not share this opinion... however I DO consider it art and if there's some governing body saying otherwise, that to me is censorship!
But that's just my opinion. Would love to know what you think in the comments below!

hmm, to me there's a good variation in the flow of the hair some separate strands, etc... but maybe you're referring to the back of the head as there may be too few rogue hairs that you'd be able to see in the profile, I think that's what you mean, you may have a point there

Concerning the erotic and pornographic art, I agree with you.
However, I believe you're a bit idealistic when saying that artists shouldn't be judged for their art. If we weren't judged for our art, then I believe that we would grow no stronger as artists. In addition, if there were no judging, then we wouldn't need a filter that said to show us pieces that were popular within the last 8 hours or so. It's the judgement that makes some of us (me in particular) strive to be better so that I have people that look at my art as often as anyone else's. But that's just my 2 cents.
Make no mistake, I'm all for freedom of expression. But people all have differing opinions of what art is. Personally, I don't like the deviations that look like a toddler drew it during class on binder paper. I don't consider that art. Some one else might. It all depends on the person.

Actually I agree with what you are saying, I would just call what you're referring to as being judged as being criticized. I personally like criticism a lot good or bad, for the reasons you pointed out, it helps to develop your art.
I guess what I'm referring to as being judged is others imposing their values on yours, like I may hate punk rock, I may think it's shallow and vulgar and criticize it as such, but it's not my place to say it's not music or even ban it.
And where does art being? The amount of paint I use, the amount of sweat and tears I invest, the amount of people that hit the like button? As you say everyone's interpretation of art differs. Art is what inspires and if a toddler drawing on binding paper inspires someone even if it's just themselves, in my eyes it's art.
In other words .art as a public TLD should be open to anyone not as handed out by Deviantart at their discretion.

very good point, it's seriously amazing how violence is tolerated in society, feature movies, etc vs porn... one causes direct harm to human beings, the other does the exact opposite!!... now guess which of these gets the cold shoulder!

Porn can give pleasure to people but remains violent sometimes What I would to point out is that you can show many thing but with a sense of moralty! Why showing kids killed by monsters or women rapped by 50 dicks in the same time? Well sex and by extension porn are inherently the complete opposite of violence. I think what you are talking about is rape. Porn is not rape. Sex and porn exist to provide one of, if not the highest pleasure known to humans. It's built in by nature so that humans find it easier to procreate, some people seem to forget that sex is the act that causes us to exist!
But yes, violence can be added to porn or any other genre of movie it doesn't mean that sex or porn is violent in general, it is not

I think this is actually far better than the last one, it is toned down just enough but not too much to be just right, if not better.
I might not be as passionate toward erotic art as you are, but I think that it is still art and that is what I think DA is about, I mean, I see nothing wrong with the naked body and if you go through all the steps of an artist to produce said body, then in all rights, that is what it is. Plain and simple.

I see it like so, if you can go online and find far worse things aside from porn/sexual things, opposed to murder/fighting/blood. I just don't see how sex or porn is a bad thing when kids, KIDS are watching things that are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much worse in every sense of the word.

As for your rant, I agree! I'm OK with the level of control that dA has exercised for the last five years, I suppose because it was there when I arrived and hasn't changed. Plus I have access to other sites for stuff that isn't dA-cool. But I would be VERY upset if they changed their policies in favor of more control.
This is a mixed bag. Some people, of course, want MORE control over "porn" - and everybody wants more control against theft. I suspect that the dA admins see the two control issues as being linked, since they are both about control - tighten one and you are in that much better position to tighten the other, if you are under pressure to do so.

Yes I agree and don't get me wrong I'm not asking for DA to allow porn. I'm just saying someone who doesn't accept porn should not run .ART. And from their wording it seems they deem .ART to be something exclusive as per their or the art community's judgement. Art should not be judged at all! ... in my opinion.

Not bad IMO. But for V4, to make the but look right, you need to do a LOT of tweaks... I'd say that, if her legs aren't fat at all, then you might wanna reduce the upper part of her back-thighs (around the point where the left foot shows). Gotta remember that, in this position, the flesh tends to move to the sides a bit (from the flex). Hard to describe it right, sorry xD

Well, that depends lol I'm not completely sure what her butt/legs look like when she's standing up normally, so I'm not sure wether it's normal or not xD Supro's Lana used to have a quite large butt (before his last update of Lana's body). So it wasn't surprising to see her with big thighs when she was bending

The .art rant...I don't feel like DA would do a good job of this anyway...I have mixed feelings on erotic and pornographic art, but I feel like DA is getting too controlling sometimes. Well, that's my two cents.

It's true but DA as a private website has the right to run it however they like, but that of course won't stop other sites from being created to house whatever arts DA rejects. I can see you feel passionately about this, but people have differing opinions due to their own ideas or culture and there is not a lot we can do about this
