I am another grain of rice in this big pot.I wonder how many other grains there are,
I hear their words and live their dreams,
I see their shining cylindrical faces
I want to know them all,
I am another grain of rice in this big pot.
I pretend what they were really like,
I feel their painful pasts, and happy futures
I touch their hearts,
I worry about them,
I cry about words dying on their lips,
I am another grain of rice in this big pot.
I understand why they are, and who they are,
I say I care
I dream that they can one day be happy,
I try to heal their stinging wounds,
I hope I brigthen their lives
