I've recently discovered Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's (his pen name is Fazza) wonderful poetry and after finding some translations from Arabic to English I was inspired to do this. My favorite poem is one titled "One year was gone". He is a fabulous poet and I truly enjoy reading his work. Not only is he a poet but an avid horseback rider and the crown prince of Dubai. His father also owns one of the largest horse racing operations in the world, Godolphin.© final image to afleetalex
