Hello! Thank you for viewing this I need help on how to improve my drawings! Can you do that? The hand some how like a robots hand rather than a humans hand, not sure why it looks off. Any reason you can see why the hand looks off and flat?

I know the shading is bad do you have any idea how to improve this? The only thing I know so far is to get rid of the outline with shading. Anything else that stands out? Trying to wrap my head around the fundamentals at the moment.

Currently I am doing the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Heard it was a good book, am I doing the right thing?

Literally only been drawing for a day, I started 30 hours ago. So literally any advice wouldn't go a miss thank you.
