So, this oc has undergone some big changes in her design and story. Funnily enough, her current design wasn't even intentional. I just decided that one day I wanted to draw her with a spooky appearance, and I liked the result so much that I decided it was going to be her canon design

Personality

Vivienne is an unhinged being made out of toxic mystery sludge created in (a now destroyed) lab. She's both insane and downright cruel, finding enjoyment in seeking out and violently devouring/slaughtering mortals who cross her path. Why? Because she's a sadist as well as power hungry. Every bit of prey devoured comes with an increase of power and knowledge (gained from prey) and the more power and knowledge there is, the more she evolves ; this is the nature of Vivienne. Of course, she finds enjoyment in other things as well, things that mortals regularly enjoy. Being young and one-of-a-kind of her species, she's naturally curious and desires to learn about the inner workings of mortals and their daily lives, as well as the world around them. So, she also spends her time learning about and interacting with the world around her despite being volatile and unpredictable ; her personality is that of someone who is fiery, intense, headstrong, and very sensual. She does not always kill every mortal she counters, either ; sometimes she will spare women, and never harms children.

Dislikes: Chemicals (these can hurt her), Deep Water, Extremely Cold Temperatures

Backstory

Vivienne is the product of unnatural life, a chemical reaction that occurred in a lab accident. It all began with a little girl and her beloved rabbit plush. Veronica (the child's mother) just so happened to work at the lab where Vivienne would ultimately be created. On a particularly busy day, Veronica was called into work on sudden notice due to an occurrence at the lab. Overnight, it appeared that one of the stored liquids (which was involved in an ongoing experiment) exploded and pooled everywhere, creating web-like tendrils reaching towards other materials in the lab, as if to absorb them. It looked like black sludge with sickly green eyes and sharp teeth throughout. It covered just about everything in the room, a pulsating glowing mass that appeared to not be an active threat. However, things quickly took a turn when the facility suddenly went into lockdown on its own, activated by the growing sludge that was presumably quarantined in lab (it turns out regular quarantine procedures weren't enough). Scientists and guards stood there, horrified and amazed at what they were seeing. With the facility being on lockdown, they could not run, but they certainly tried. While everyone else was panicking and seeking a way out, Veronica just stood there in shock and horror, staring at the abomination before her. What she didn't notice, however, was the sludge creeping under the sealed door towards her, seeking out a vessel to absorb and take life in. Its tendrils lashed out, wrapping around Veronica, and the rabbit plush that was placed in her lab coat by her child hours before. As much as she struggled, she could not escape the strong grip of the sludge that would ultimately absorb her, and so she died a painful death, feeling every part of her body being dissolved and consumed. This same fate happened to the rest of the poor souls trapped in the facility with the abomination, too. In the end, the facility was in shambles with hundreds of souls slaughtered, blood and bone everywhere. By this point, the sludge had grown in size, as if it evolved. With this came a new form in the shape of a woman. From there, she chose a name for herself: Vivienne. She also created a lovely chainsaw the same material she was made of to serve as her weapon of choice. Despite the facility being quarantined, its reinforced walls could not hold her, and so she broke out, leaving a destroyed lab behind her. Moments later, it erupted into an explosion that was heard from miles away, shaking the earth. On that day, a child lost their mother. For the following days, new about the lab "explosion" spread, inciting worry and wonder in the crowd. However, the story was chocked down to being just an explosion that destroyed the facility and killed those in it. The truth was never revealed because those who knew buried it.
