Description
Boy was this piece quite the long journey to get done. I thought that as simple of a design SpongeBob can be, I'd be done in no time! But due to my perfectionism, and how many colors go into drawing him....boy did I underestimate myself.

Given how much of a pop culture icon SpongeBob has become in the span of 2 decades, it was only inevitable he would also be the subject of various references and parodies in other shows. Then again, that can also be an indicator of when you truly "made it".
