Yesterday, we lost another SpongeBob legend, the voice of Barnacle Boy, Tim Conway. I've always enjoyed the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episodes as a kid, but as an adult that has gotten more into superheroes, I appreciate their characters so much more knowing that they were basically Aquaman and Aqualad if they were written like Adam West's Batman.ΒThough if there's any silver lining to this is....at least Barnacle Boy can finally reunite with Mermaid Man....
Rest in Peace, Tim Conway.

I loved Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy (Barnacle Boy was my favorite). Both of their voice acting were so amazing into and for the characters. I had so many good laughs because of them. Thank you Ernest Borgnine, Tim Conway, and Stephen Hillenburg for making many bad days of my childhood bearable with the laughters that continuously blinded me from the darkness of my reality. Rest in peace.

Most people may recognize him for the role of Barnicle Boy, but I'll also remember Conway for his performances asΒ Charles ParkerΒ in "McHale's Navy" (which he starred in alongside Ernest Borgnine),Β Amos Tucker in Disney's "The Apple Dumpling Gang", andΒ his various comedic sketches in the "The Carol Burnett Show". Heck, I might even include hisΒ "Dorf on Golf" video as well.
He'll always be remembered.
