Back in 2022, I went to see Minions: The Rise of Gru with my folks at my local theater....that's not around anymore. During the beginning when Wild Knuckles was in that temple getting that magic medallion, my mom mentioned to me how it looked a lot like Shazam!, and, when looking at the scene....it kinda does if you think about it. I mean, the temple's like The Wizard's realm, the ancient, mystical power-giving medallion isn't too different to The Wizard's staff. Being a magic macguffin, and on top of all that, both play a key part in the third act's climax where the villain uses it in a crowded area, while the heroes gain powers of their own to take them down.Huh...maybe Couch Tomato should do a 24 Reasons Why Shazam! and Minions: The Rise of Gru. I'd watch it. Also, The Staff would be a object Wild Knuckles would use for his own diabolical schemes...
And before you say, yes. There were Gentleminions at that screening.
