I don't even know where to start, so I'll just gush: Good lord, your lines are smooth. And your shading is so consistent. And your details are so... er, detailed!

I've always really loved the mother and daughter relationship between these two that is depicted in fanon. I can hardly believe this is traditional art... the lines are great and the coloring is so smooth as well. I also love the fluffy effect you and a few other artists put on ponies as long as it isn't too excessive. Also I have to ask, how do you get the eyes to look so good? They're one of the things I have a lot of trouble with now that I'm actually trying to draw ponies.

Thanks for the response! I know about the paper, I'm just using it at the moment because there's a lot of it and I'm just using it for the Artist Training Grounds for now. I'll probably replace it after I'm done with the NATG or feel confident enough to use some quality paper.
