Here I drew my main OC trio as mermaids based on prehistoric animals:- Wakumi: Archelon (a marine turtle from the Cretaceous, it was the largest known turtle ever lived)
- Cassida: Drepanaspis (an extinct armored jawless fish from the Devonian, known for its wide, ray-like body)
- Agate: Eusthenopteron (an extinct lobe-finned fish from the Devonian, closely related to the first land vertebrates)
