Description
This is the first time I managed to catch the female (on the left) and the male (on the right) bramblings (Fringilla montifringilla) together. I was lucky that I spotted a flock of yellowhammers, which contained these two accompanying to them. Even it winter plumage, the male has a noticeably darker head.Hungary, 2024.01.03.
