Description
Glutinous waxcap (Hygrocybe glutinipes) and a fallen hawthorn fruit. They indeed compliment each other with their colors.That aside, it seems I am in luck with the waxcaps this year. At first the H. chlorophana, then the H. conica (found a lot), then this. The rains brought out several of these sticky, slimy and bright red-orange beauties.
