It's tough to get away from cliches.

Lately I've found myself using the stock image with the light streaming through water a lot. It works very well for underwater, especially in certain scenes such as this. The trouble is that nothing else seems to fit the bill. So hey, there it is.

The coloring of the lineart was tedious, but not impossible. As for Ariel herself, I colored her years ago. Finally got around to finishing it, and it turned out pretty well.

Ariel and Flounder are copywrited by Disney!

UPDATE: I double checked the movie! No wonder Flounder didn't look right- his fins are blue. (whacks head against desk!)
