In the wonderful Club MTT group there is a prompt contest going on where you can either draw your MTT, Yol, and or Hybrid and introduce us to your character, or the first time they met their best friend and or significant others, or a meeting between your character and someone else's! When I saw that I knew immediately who I wanted to draw. After talked to Blattt for a little bit about Kai and where he would work and one of their characters I knew exactly what I wanted to draw.

Here's a little dialog from the first time Kai ever met his trainer/ boss Monk. I had so much fun drawing this and thanks to Blattt for letting me draw her bab for this contest. Also good luck to everyone who participates!

Kai was walking back home from school and decided to stop by this gym that he always saw to and from his home. It was dimly lit and a few of the light bulbs flickered as he walked farther into the building. He looked around and noticed a large tractor tire like the ones he had to lift at practice and walked over to it. He set his backpack down and attempted to flip the tire. At that moment and without his knowledge a figure was on the other side of building watching the 6-foot football player begin to lift. The figure's eyes narrowed as he hastily walked over with to the student with a slight twitch in his eye.

“I don’t know what you think you’re doing, but if you’re going to lift that thing you better do it right!”

Kai jumped and, in the process, dropped the tire back on the floor with a loud ‘thud’

“Oh! I’m sorry! I didn’t know anyone else was here.”

He said in shock. He looked down a little not realizing that the other person was that much smaller than him. Walking back Kai, the other occupant stated,

“Look, if you want to lift and not screw up your body, you have to lift with your legs not your back, kid!”

Kai looked in embarrassment. He knew that. His coaches told him that all the time, yet he still seemed to not get it.

“Yes sir.”

Kai replied as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“The names Monk by the way.”

Monk said as he began to lift the tire show Kai what he was supposed to do. Kai gave Monk his full attention as he watched the older man.

“Look kid, you look like you could use some actual training and I’d be more than happy to help you out.”

Kai looked into the purple eyes of the man in from of him and then smiled.

“That would be awesome! Thank you so much!”
