Q'SAl, Vortex Hurlant
Sehaltiel pense depuis un moment à toutes les merveilles qu'il ne peut voir. L’obsession de percevoir la substance de l'univers le pousse à abandonner Calydon et ses trois autres camarades pour se rendre sur Q'Sal.
La bas il passe un arrangement avec un sorcier de la vité de Tanor. W'Soran "le polymathe" s'engage à lui graver des runes magique sous les paupière afin qu'il puisse percevoir enfin l'Empirean et gouter à sa beauté ! En échange Sehaltiel reste sur Q'Sal et devient le garde du corps du sorcier, pour un temps.

Alors que Sehaltiel flanqué de son serviteur Demi-Lune accompagnent W'Soran au marché de la cité, le sorcier confie à l'Esthète ses plans prochains. Il a rendez-vous avec un autre sorcier, très érudit. Le maitre Zy'Lor Krosh que l'on surnomme le "Xénomancien", doit échanger un livre contre des préparations alchimiques composée par W'Soran : le Mysteria Catti.

Hélas une manigance oblige W'Soran a manqué son rendez-vous. Celui-ci ayant tissé une certaine confiance en l'Esthète pour l'envoyer à sa place à son précieux rendez-vous. Cependant, après une patiente attente, l'acolyte du Xénomancien décide d'ouvrir la porte de son étude. Une grenade à plasma explose !
Sehaltiel se précipite mais le magister est déjà mort. Conscient que tout n'est que complot politique sur Q'Sal, l'astartes décide de ne toucher à rien. Arrêté et conduit au palais il sera interrogé et envoyé à la recherche du coupable en compagnie de W'Soran.

L'enquête chez le défunt révèle qu'il a été assassiné, probablement par un Eldar, qui s'est donné du mal pour effacer toute traces des derniers travaux de Zy'Lor Krosh.
Ils prennent très vite en chasse le coupable avec la seule piste disponible : une épine provenant d'un endroit particulier du désert.

Une fois sur place, ils découvrent une grotte bourrée de pièges, où l'Eldar a installé au nez et à la barbe des sorciers une porte Eldar ! Soudain, surgissent de nulle part une bande de Khymera ! Les bêtes redoutables ont été dressée et portent des marques Eldar Noir qui les forcent à obéir ! La terreur infligée par les démon fait vomir Demi-Lune alors que l'Astartes peine au combat incapable d’utiliser son arme lourd au corps à corps !
Le sorcier se montre redoutable et finalement, W'Soran et Sehaltiel parviennent à se débarrasser des démons !

L'Eldar s'est enfuit depuis longtemps mais la question reste entière ? Quel est l'objet qu'il a emporté avec lui ? Et pourquoi avoir tuer la seule personne qui semblait disposer de cet objets et des coordonnées de sa provenance ?

La réponse est une légende : Un Prince Démon aurait voulu surpasser son dieu. celui-ci, jaloux, le tua et jeta son tombeau sur le monde qui l'avait vu naitre après l'avoir dévaster ! Ce dieu est le Prince Sombre ! Plus tard, un champion de Kohrne vont sur ce monde oublié avec toute une armée et y disparut ! Sehaltiel dont la curiosité est piquée au vif décide de quitter W'Soran et Q'Sal et de partir pour l'Helix Ecartellée pour interroger la pirate Lishkar Delphues !

Sehaltiel has been thinking for a moment about all the wonders he can not see. The obsession with perceiving the substance of the universe drives him to abandon Calydon and his three other comrades to go to Q'Sal.
Down there he arranges with a sorcerer living in Tanor. W'Soran "the polymath" is committed to engrave magical runes under the eyelids so that he can finally perceive the Empirean and taste its beauty! In exchange Sehaltiel remains on Q'Sal and becomes the wizard's bodyguard for a time.

While Sehaltiel flanked by his servant Demi-Lune accompany W'Soran to the market of the city, the wizard entrusts to the Esthète his next plans. He has an appointment with another wizard, very erudite. Master Zy'Lor Krosh, nicknamed "Xenomenian", has to exchange a book for alchemical preparations composed by W'Soran: the Mysteria Catti.

Alas a scheming compels W'Soran missed his appointment. He has woven a certain confidence in the Esthete to send him to his place at his precious appointment. However, after a patient wait, the acolyte Xénancien decides to open the door of his study. A plasma grenade explodes!
Sehaltiel rushes but the magister is already dead. Aware that everything is a political conspiracy on Q'Sal, the astartes decides to touch nothing. Arrested and taken to the palace, he will be interrogated and sent to search for the culprit in the company of W'Soran.

The investigation into the deceased's home reveals that he was murdered, probably by an Eldar, who went to great lengths to erase all traces of Zy'Lor Krosh's latest works.
They quickly track him with the only available track: a thorn coming from a particular place in the desert.

Once there, they discover a cave filled with traps, where the Eldar has installed the bearer's nose and beard an Eldar door! Suddenly, come out of nowhere a band of Khymera! The fearsome beasts have been traineand carry Eldar Black marks that force them to obey! The terror inflicted by the demon causes makes Half-Moon vomit while the Astartes struggles to fight unable to use his heavy weapon in hand-to-hand combat!
The wizard is formidable and finally, W'Soran and Sehaltiel manage to get rid of demons!

The Eldar fled for a long time but the question remains. What is the object he took with him? And why did you kill the only person who seemed to have this object and the coordinates of where it came from?

The answer is a legend: A Demon Prince would have wanted to outdo his god. this one, jealous, killed him and threw his tomb on the world which had seen him born after having devastated him! This god is the Dark Prince! Later, a champion Kohrne go on this forgotten world with a whole army and disappeared there! Sehaltiel whose curiosity is piqued decides to leave W'Soran and Q'Sal and leaves for Helix Ecartellée to interrogate pirate Lishkar Delphues!
