Dom Rossi is one of the troopers leading the detachment of Security Forces aboard the USS Antares, an exploratory and troop carrier in transit in deep space. The Security Forces detail train to be able to respond to any threat to the ship or the troops that it is transporting.

Rossi's team was reporting to an emergency in the engine room on Antares, where a fire alarm has gone off. But his team is ambushed!
