I enjoy night photography prolly the most and I think I have a lot to learn about it. It was a foggy day today, so I went shooting with ~Doniou in hope of finding something worthy of taking pics of. We headed to Nurmijรคrvi, Finland, where I've been photographing quite a few times before, cause of all the large fields. This time of year it gets dark very soon - flashes and fog work so well together
For those who wonder about the bright line in the horizon, that's a highway. And the light coming from the barn was created with two external flashes.

I do have a question though about the external flashes... your exposure was set for 31 seconds, and your strobes go off for a fraction of a second. Did you strobe the external flashes several times or just once each? I would think that the light from in the barn would have been a lower exposure value than the rest of the surroundings.

That is an award winning photo. But what really brings this down is that the aperture used is totally off the far pace. Maybe you didn't had a cable release or something, i don't know. But anyways, its a great photo, really.

I don't know anything about photography, but I can imagine this took a lot of work to set it up. The result is amazing. Great stuff.
