Yes... a very interesting shot. I agree with scoota269 in some points. It could've been better to raise the angle a bit to show the whole of the tower and move it a just little to the left - not much to keep the strenght of the sky and avoid to much light on the right. It is neverthless an excelent shot with a great colour and contrast balance. The birds and the wonderful sky make it almost seem an impressionist painting and the tower (even not perfectly positioned) conveys a feeling of solitude and inner peace. Good work

i think and it would be enough to raise a camera .... I've cut the sea. if i raised a camera i would catch the whole tower and more sky. It was a quick photo, maybe i'll repeat it on holiday if i come back

The colours and the birds are indeed amazing, but you're losing a lot of power the photograph by not giving the tower some attention. If you get the chance try bringing toward the center a little and including some sky between the top of the tower and the edge of the image
