This story takes place in a parallel universe. After defeating the calamity Ganon, Link decided to go on a journey of initiation to a distant land. He kept in correspondence with Princess Zelda, telling her about his discoveries, especially about a strange energy. The princess told him to be careful, but she did not hear from him for eight long weeks. Worried, she began to mount an expedition when Link finally returned.

However, he seemed to be different, his skin was paler and he gave off a kind of animal magnetism. Zelda was pleased to see her champion return and asked to speak with him immediately. Link agreed and also explained the reasons for his silence. As he explored the temple to find out more about the energy, he came across a cult that worships a man named Lacradu and be captured. Then, they infused him with their master's essence to serve as his host.

However, Link refused to give up his body and fought a battle of wits which he eventually won by destroying Lacradu's soul. Unfortunately, Link's body was transformed during this fight but this allowed him to get rid of the cult and return to Hyrule. He then showed his new appearance to the princess, that of a vampire. Zelda, far from panicking, hugged her champion, not caring about his new appearance.

Link was reassured and the two continued their discussion during which the princess learned that Link, by simply biting her, will be able to transform her in return. The princess asked for some time to think about it, and she began to research and learn a lot. For his part, Link burned more and more with the desire to share this with his princess or rather HIS queen. One night, Zelda came into Link's room, wearing a stylish black robe and cape.

Before the Hylian could say anything, Zelda held out her arm and agreed to be transformed into a vampire. Link did not wait long and bit his future queen who felt her body transform little by little. She lost her natural skin color to a lighter one, her fangs began to grow and finally her eyes changed from blue to red. This is how Zelda became a vampire in her turn, and finally took her title of queen. Who knows what awaits Hyrule now?
