Because the people there speak the language of the Indus Valley Civilisation (Although they also speak a unique liturgical Prakrit and are moderately influenced by Aryans but they have their own religion that is basically Hinduism but without the pantheon)
Why are the Himalayan foothills and its forests not Aryan speaking?
Because Kusunda-like speakers live there
Are the Karakoram mountains Aryan or Sino-Tibetan speaking?
Neither. They are speakers of a language family similar/same as the Burushaski language
Why is western Serica not Aryan speaking?
In OTL, that region was first sporadically occupied by Indo-Aryan and Tocharian speakers.
