- Both of them are known for being powerful & ruthless, Yet somewhat honorable anti-villains who most of time simply following their master orders.
- Both of them have sons who rebels againts them (Luke Skywalker & Mark Grayson), As both of them trying to made their sons joining them.
- Both of them fought their sons, Which left their sons brutally wounded (Mark got beaten to near-death and Luke lost one of his hand).
