as my dad always said to me (and still does from time to time)...

popularity is a curse !
the spotlight isn't always sunshine and roses for DD'ed artists - sometimes it's more like a movie-styled interrogation room It has taken me well over a year to not allow myself to feed the fire by commenting back...or by letting it snake me.

What you did was clever. And it made me smile/giggle.
I think a lot of folks mistake lighthearted artwork for a creation by an artist who isn't serious at all about their images...

I totally agree with your dad.. & I ve also observed this...

Being one big ART supporter here on DA, if i got such critiques that really make me feel bad... deviants are just reading"Oh GD, give me DD" but they are totally ignoring this is "The voice of deviants" & not understaning the idea behind this...

I know you didn't suggest yourself hon, and I'm not saying its unworthy really, I was just asking for your point of view as the artist.

It seems too simple, compared to your other work its almost demeaning yourself. I wanted to know your thoughts behind it, if its really all that you see and nothing more, then I'm not sure its a prime example of 'Conceptual Photography'.. good examples would be your Racism one.

As someone with such good work, I was just curious to know what drove you to this.

well I just did this for all the deviants who have powerful stuff in their galleries but they are not supported by us...
