Yeah I think you need a little shading on the hair as the rest of the piece has shading and it makes it look a little odd, cool idea and great shading on the face. Good job!

What a creative (and sorta abstract, in a way) idea.
Great use of shading overall -- I think that the hair could have used some shading as well. Even though it's obviously pitch-like black I think it would have given it more depth with a little bit of, you know, "light reflecting off of hair" here and there.
Either way -- it looks great.
