"This is Aiden! I've been away for a while but I'm back to post more stuff on DeviantArt!"Corny references aside, I'm back with more Custom CD Covers. I have a few custom CDs in my music collection and the covers I made for them were... outdated to say the least.
So, I took some time to make some new designs starting with Sonic Mania.
Yes, Mania did "technically" get an official release but, as far as CD albums go, it was Japan exclusive. I do plan on importing a copy at some point but right now money is tight.
A couple years back I got a hold of a rip of the entire soundtrack for Mania on YouTube and I put it onto a CD for my own personal collection; but a CD album needs some cover art
so here is my updated Sonic Mania CD album cover art, titled: "Sonic Discovery - Sonic Mania Original Soundtrack Vol.1"
This design is almost an exact replica of the JP box-art for Sonic 1 which was the look I was going for. My favourite box-art for Sonic 1 is the Eur/Aus artwork (that creamy coloured one) but the JP
cover comes very close. Plus, I figured the JP style would look nicer on a CD than the Eur style.
