For Scrapwolve’s Scout I think Smugglers from Star Wars is the main reference. You may think this looks more like Russian Rebels during Cold War but this is true, it was the inspiration since they are bunch of misfit army.

Actually it’s not Russian Rebels…the whole Insurgents Faction from Insurgency Sandstorm if they are from Russia instead of middle east. And these Scimitars & Makarov PB? Yes, I really mean it they are wielding Scimitars. I think nothing better than Russian Misfit wielding a Mongolian Scimitar for swift sword barrage-styled CQC than Ogre Club who utilize precision slash with their Katana
