This is awesome, I love how they're playing in the snow! 
The way you've done the fur mixed in the with the shading and the (things on the front legs? Dunno what to call them 
The trees in the background and the grass/bushes in the foreground are nice little details that add a lot to the overall piece and the colour choices fit into a snow environment perfectly. And the snow looks soft due to the subtle shading but also retains some texture.
And when comparing this to your old piece, there is an extreme improvement in how you add details and just more detail in general, the poses seem more natural and the anatomy has improved greatly; and the colour harmonies work a lot better here as well.
Great job on this artwork and you have every reason to be proud of this!

This looks very playful, with their body postures and facial expressions!
The lack of "warm" colours red, orange and yellow makes the picture feel cold like the weather in it.
Especially because there is just a faint trace of mauve.

I really enjoy looking at this artwork!! Aikanaro and Tanya are both very well designed characters! I especially like the shining effect in the long brown hair! it makes it look so soft and healthy! The hair texture of the fur is also very well made! it looks thick and fluffy and perfect to keep both of them warm!
also the snow!! oooh how much I wish I could draw snow like that! Snow is especially hard for me but you made it look so good and also with the snowflakes, the clouds and the color of the sky give the whole picture a snowy-cool atmosphere!! the grass and twigs and the forest in the background add nice detail and make the picture look so complete and full of life!

Yeah 10 years had passed.... in that time the old drawing was done in another computer, with a mouse and with a crappy software.
