yeah, i never once saw SpringTrap as a tortured soul.
say what you will, but when you got away with shitloads of murder and manage to get back up long after your victims avenged themselves, alive (more or less) with a new immortal body, with the chance to kill more and more people without the fear of the law or the consequences...
