Fly...Please Teach Me...
Before I knew you I had wings.Ever feel internally torn before? That's what this piece is about, and the composition mirrors it. I am currently saying goodbye to someone I care about, but I know it will turn out good in the end.
I consider myself a fantasy artist, and I feel that it is my responsibility as one to keep advancing with my imagination. It is extremely rewarding when you accomplish a new angle or perspective by tying in emotions.

This is stunning, I love it, the dripping ink and everything. I'm kind of torn though, I don't know if I would have liked this as just purely pencil, or if the pure black of the ink makes it bolder.

It is impossible for me to draw something strait from a photo/drawing and keep it Exactly the way it is, I always have to change things. You know? Plus it's good for me because I can sharpen my imagination-by putting what I have in my head down on paper!

This is so extremely stunning. I can't even begin to describe. The emotion it is portraying with the angle of the body and the detail of the wings is so vivid. I love that you have a need to make art when you feel strong emotions, as the audience it is great to see such changes in your work. You are a true artist.

I didn't even mean for there to be movement in this piece, it sort of happened on it's own. He's wanting to leave, but at the same time dreading it, torn and emotional.
Glad it could make me try something new, and express my feelings through the pencil.

I agree-this was surprisingly easy, and yet one of my better works.
It's hard when you have to say goodbye to people, and there has definitely been a downswing for me at the moment, but it's yielding some pretty interesting art! Thank you very much for the kind words!

I understand. I've had to say goodbye quiet a few times even if it's not to people but to a few animals. all of wich i can say were more human than most people these days. But enough of my blabbering. I really do hope you feel better soon.
