I'm trying to get the feel for drawing water landscapes. You should probably expect more at some point
The large structure cutting across is a large root. Due to the environment and chance of flooding on the ground (and other natural disasters), humans often make their homes on these roots.
I'm afraid that I didn't make the size scale between the human dwellings and the surrouding landscape obvious enough I should probably have added something else for scale.
