I've been working on this on-and-off as a warmup for the last like... I don't know, six months? Just a few minutes here and there, and now it's done! Honestly I have conflicting feelings when it comes to Ariel as a character, but she's definitely one of Glen Keane's most well-known, expressive characters that he really spear-headed. I'm always keen for an opportunity to pay homage to one of my greatest influences, and I think if I ever do another redraw, it'll be for another one of the influences to my current artistic style.
