"No... no... it's not real... It's... fake... elevators... can't... can't... kill people..."
Hudson Cromwell is known for lying to his students. He lies to them that the world is all sunshine and rainbows. He believes kids should be protected from the horrible truth of the world.
I can imagine him bringing his class on a field trip to a building with many floors. A part of the class would go in the elevator and the rest would wait. The part of the class that went in the elevator would be killed by it. Hudson would see the blood and try to calm down the remaining students while calming himself.
This doesn't actually happen in my story though.
literally this picture could go with any tragic violent scene. I just wanted to mention the elevator.
