I have been wanting to try out the Dragon age tarot card style for so long, and I finally was able to pull it off! It's my first time painting over my sketch instead of doing line art, then color in another layer. Even after immediately completing it, I noticed a few things I would change, but I am extremely pleased with this as my first attempt!

Lucius Amastacia is one of my dungeons and dragons OCs. He's a high elf Warlock with a thirst for power. The Amastacia family hails from the city Sa'adall, located right in the heart of the infamous Aphoral Empire. Both the Aphoral Empire and Sa'adall had once prided itself on the magic it harbored, but the recent rise in demons crossing into the mortal plane has left magic severely restricted. Despite this, the noble houses of Sa'adall have been left to use magic at their own discretion -- and even more crucial to their status than money was their innate magical talents. Being born into a once proud family on the brink of losing all status, Lucius -- and his elder brother Lucien -- were more than appalled at their own lack of magical ability. The pair only became increasingly bitter as they aged; watching their family fall was beyond humiliating. To save their family, and their own pride, Lucius and Lucien made a pact. For the price of their hearts, Lucius and Lucien would gain the magic of the demons who possessed them. A taboo ritual that left them powerful, yet broken.
