i haven't had any new work right now because well i haven't printed anything and blahbalheuras but this is something i'm working on for a graphics project and i thought i'd post this because i love it even though it's just hannah breathing on a window, the idea is important and maybe you'll see it again. (totally amelie inspired-- but you have to be a meticulous amelie viewer to know where this comes from.)airairairair

this may not be presenting kimmy to caite, or the other way around. but whatever it is, and no pun intended, it is breathtaking.
this is brilliant because of both its boldness and subtlety.
first i must applaud you for the technique because it has created a one of a kind image i've never seen replicated.
The boldness of the colors makes my head swim, but it is the subtle freckles and muted cools of her coat that really throw me to the stars.
those bold eyelashes make me scream and cry inside about detail work and the loveliness of what you've made me notice, but the tendrils of her hair curling underneath the fogged glass are what makes me want to dance.
makes me make a soft cooing noise that then turns into a squeal of delight
and it's now my computer background

a different approach than what you usually use. its interesting. the fog on the glass creates a closeness with the subject. . . and the clarity on her eyelashes is amazing.

i actually definitely thought of amelie when i saw the thumbnail... this is a great shot... the colors are very soft and the photo composition is very intimate... great capture.
