very quick one - 10 mins for c4d model - 45 mins for photoshop brushing..those who know me would know that i tell the truth when i say 45 mins

whoa your brushing's good. don't know if you noticed, there's this piece of black circle-ish dot in the middle of the brushing that didn't blend in it looks really weird in the middle like that. you should also try to water down the 2D on the top and put some on the bottom, minimal 2D on this piece would look better becuase of the techcirlces. techcircles are awesome though, very nice perspective. overall it's nice

Just busts out in like 45 minutes, thats mint man! I'd love to see the results of say a week project, that'd be mint too!

great brushing, and the colorscheme is sweet
But the 2d seems cluttered, like you just added it because you "had" to...
and try to work longer on the render, you will be surprised over the results
