Description
I made this in MS Paint, so it might be a bit pixelated. This tutorial is made for those ppl who wants to start plushie making in an easy way.
That's why I choose to do a piece of toast XD It's fairly simple & straight forward.
Well...actually, I am planning to start a breakfast keychain plushie series, but school is starting TOMORROW!
So, I don't know when is the next time I can start making plushies again T-T and I probably won't have time to finish the "Nyanko Fries" to go along w/ the Nyanko Burger for the junk food contest either....oh well
EDIT:
Thanks to for the DD feature

I feel bad for asking more questions, but...for the blushies, do you use both thread and blush?
If so, what kind of blush do you recommend (if it matters)?
Sorry again...and thanks again.

yea i did, but it's personal preference, u can use anything u want, u can sew on a piece of felt or color marker

Wow, this looks really simple and easy to follow! Thanks so much, I'd been anxious to start making plushies, but hadn't found the right tutorial until now. The only things I'm confused about are putting the plastic tab in for the keychain, and about tying a big knot at the end...do you have any advice?

aiwa-9 In reply to TeaKeikii [2008-10-30 07:51:34 +0000 UTC]
the plastic tab is just a keychain holder you make, you don't have to use clear plastic, you can use any other material, some ppl use felt or ribbon but i find they tare easily, so i used clear plastic and it won't ruin the design cuz it's transparent
basically you just hold onto the plastic tightly as you sew it onto the plush
and tying a big knot is just to prevent the thread from becoming loose,

Oh, I see. But how do you sew around the plastic tab?
And...I get that, I suppose, but where do you put the big knot?
By the way, thanks so much for helping me. I'm so new at this, sorry for asking so many questions...

aiwa-9 In reply to TeaKeikii [2008-10-31 02:33:30 +0000 UTC]
no, you sew the plastic tab on as you would normally sew but go through the tab, so it's secure, so just sew as you would normally but over the plastic..it's a bit hard cuz the material is tough...try using a slightly thicker needle
big knot, you just hide it in b/w those stitching or until u can't see the knot on the outside

OH, I see. That makes more sense.
...Wait, do you tuck it in the plushie? If so, how...?
And sorry again for bothering you...

aiwa-9 In reply to TeaKeikii [2008-10-31 23:10:02 +0000 UTC]
yea~~ you just poke it in with the needle
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TeaKeikii In reply to aiwa-9 [2008-10-31 23:13:39 +0000 UTC]
But, wouldn't that require a hole in the stitching? Or do you just use the holes in between the stitches?

Congrats on the DD

That is adorable.
You are a really great teacher. Everything was clearly laid out and the ideas were simple to follow. I can totally see how a non sewer could actually end up with a nice little plush.
Well done!
