This incredible rendition of an OC of mine, Ajanis Apprentice (yes, the one I use my as my screen name) was done by the incredible Dragonith who you can find here: www.deviantart.com/dragonith

Ajanis lives in a world where magic and technology go hand in hand. He himself was a mage of sorts. When a friend of his was having debt issues, Ajanis tried to help him out and talk to the loan-shark that was trying to collect. That went about as well as one would expect. In the ensuing fight he took down the gang and their multiple enforcers, several of whom were magi-tech enhanced ogres. He himself wasn't left unscathed, as one can see from above. Both legs from the knee down were blown right off, his right arm from the elbow down was cut off and his right eye, along with some of the face surrounding it, was just ripped right off. He now has magi-tech prosthetic legs and an arm (the left arm is just wearing a magi-tech gauntlet), as well as a magi-tech eye.

My eventual plan is to write a story surrounding him and, one day if I ever DM a Dungeons and Dragons Homebrew game, to use him as a major NPC.

His last name is self-given. He went with Apprentice because, in his own words "One is never a master of a craft; there is always more to learn. Thus I am the eternal apprentice. Always searching for more knowledge and experience."
