Description A new chance and an old game.

Nothin' special...

"Your gonna be late again Andrea!" Called an elder male voice. It was followed by hurried footsteps and loud shouts then a door opening.
"Do me a favor Max?" Called a female voice.
"What?" Asked the elder male voice.
"Bugger off! I'm only gonna be late because of you!" Snarled the female voice. The owner of the voice bolted for the garage with a beat up black bag slung over one shoulder. The door slowly opened and she cursed it's lack of speed as she gripped the handle bars of a midnight blue new looking mountain bike. Swinging a leg over the seat and kicking off she pumped her legs furiously gaining speed and flying down the sidewalk without a second glance back at her home.
Andrea Trabian didn't expect anything special out of life. She lived with her detached Uncle in a small community just outside Tranquility, Nevada. The commute to the local high school on her mountain bike was quite the workout. When she watched a familiar face slowly drive by in a brand new yellow camaro with thick black racing stripes she forgot about the crack in the pavement. This resulted in her tumbling over her handlebars and hitting the cement with a dull thud. The impact sound was apparently however loud enough to warrent the attention of the driver because he pulled over, parked, and got out.
"Andy?" The boy said running a hand through short dark hair as he approached. He looked at the figure sprawled out on the ground and tried to avoid laughing. He'd done something similar very recently. A lean toned form from riding their bike every day, short messy blood red hair with black roots, and annoyed sapphire blue eyes. Loose black jeans that somehow never got stuck in the bike chain, a baggy dark blue shirt with , 'Armor for Sleep' in black letters, and various necklaces shining in the sunlight.
"Allo Sam." Andrea said in her typical accent. Where she'd picked up the near english accent he had no clue. Andrea had lived in Tranquility for about ten of her sixteen years she'd said once.
"Need help?" He asked offering a hand. Once on her feet she stood a few inches shorter then him in her black and red sharpie colored converse.
"Oh hell!" She hissed staring at her bike. The front wheel frame was bent in from the impact letting her know how fast she had been going. The tire itsel appeared rather flat. There were also a few scratches in the deep blue paint but otherwise it seemed okay.
"Your not getting anywhere in that. Put it in my trunk and i'll give ya a ride. I owe you for science class after all." Sam said popping the trunk on the camaro. She smiled brightly and hefted the bike up doing as told. The doors opened for them and she looked at him over the hood.
"This is what your dad got you for the three a's and the two thousand?" She asked.
"Actually no. He got me an older model. That one got trashed in some big military accident out on the highway by mission city so they gave me this one." He explained. She slid into the passenger seat after rolling her eyes. Andrea had helped Sam with his science homework earning him one of his three a's neccessary to get a car in the first place. He'd also found out that she was a lot of fun to hang out with in general. Labelled as a gothic wild child she was left alone by just about every group since no one knew what she'd do. Trent had once been stupid enough to tease her style and later that week his experiment or test for that weeks unit in science had exploded in his face when someone had switched some of the chemicals. Andrea just happened to sit right infront of him, and was barely hiding her laughter behind her hands placed over her mouth. Trent had been rather pissed off using mild terms.
"It's a beauty." She muttered running her hands over the dash. The car shuddered and she passed it off as the habits of a brand new car. "It really is Sam." She said laughing at the disco ball and air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror. He nodded and chuckled at her fascination with the car. If memory served he'd promised to let her drive he old cat he was suppose to have gotten just once. Andrea had an eye for nice cars and her liscense but no car.
"Thought you were suppose to get your Dad's stuff?" He said. Since they'd become friends Sam had learned why Andrea had a license but rode her bike to school. She lived with her Uncle who took care of her only out of duty to his sister, her mother. Her father had left her everything for the most part which included a decent bit of money, a large private complex in the woods north of New York and a few more things. She couldn't however access them until she was deemed allowed by her guardian.
"Max still won't let me have any of it. Ya know he's all paranoid." She said with a wave of her hand. They arrived at school to find Trent and his crew waiting. Immediately they scattered seeing the Witwicky with the goth. She'd developed a sort of protective habit over her friend. Anyone who messed with him suffered her wrath by consequence.
"I can give ya a ride home. It's obvious your bike won't make it." He offered since Mikaela was staying home with a cold. Andrea lived even farther away then the brunette but that was because she lived several blocks farther into the suburbs then him.
"Your so helpful Sam." She said smiling slightly. "See you in science." She added before walking off towards the library. She didn't have a first period apparently and spent the mornings research something. What she was researching no one knew. It was fourth period science and they were changing seats. The teacher, Mr. Dawson was letting them pick seats.
"Alright Ms Trabian pick your mates for this semester. Remember two people and no changing your mind." Mr Dawson reminded the fire haired girl.
"Ah know sir." She said with a wild grin. "My seat mates'll be Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes if you'll please." She said with a slight smirk.
"Since Ms Banes is absent today that saves me the trouble of placing her. Pick your place Mr Witwicky." Mr Dawson said absently waving his hand at the stunned boy. Sam stood and walked to a seat near the windows about four rows back. No one was ever allowed to sit in the fifth and final row so this was perfect. He sat on the middle seat and Andrea sat on his right. That left the seat on his left for Mikaela.
"Did you plan this?" He asked quietly as Mr Dawson went through the rest of the roster.
"Mayhaps." She replied with a lazy smile. Sam had a feeling that Andrea had indeed planned it from the begining. She was one of the best students in the class regardless of how much attention she paid and unlike most of the students she didn't give the teacher any show of attitude.
"You rock Andy." He said patting her on the back. She chuckled. The sound was a bit erie because it was light and girlie. After school she was quite happy to find herself riding home in the camaro. She snuggled up in te leather seat and yawned loudly.
"Wha?" She asked as Sam stared at her.
"That was totally cute. You stay up to late?" He asked. She punched him lightly in the arm. That was all the reply he needed to know that he was right. She could swear the camaro gave a sound akin to a chuckle. She was however more focused on the heavy rock songs blaring through the stereo.
"So how are things with you and the girlie?" She asked after a couple minutes.
"Good. Going back to schools a bit of a pain but not bad." He said focusing on the road. Once they reached her house she pulled her bike from the trunk and bid them goodbye.
"I liked her. She was nice." Bumblebee said after they were clear.
"Yeah I would have never got you without her help." Sam said before launching into the explaination about Andrea.
"Yes I agree that she's a very interesting person. I did a scan of her when she entered. She's giving off faint waves of energy similar to all the autobots. Something similar to the all spark but unique to each of us. She's giving off a faint spark signature." Bumblebee said curiously.
"Seriously? How can a human do that?" Sam asked frantically.
"A human shouldn't be able to." Bumblebee said. "I'll contact Ratchet." The camaro transformer said letting the human control the driving.
'Bumblebee to Ratchet. You there?'
'Yes I am. What is it Bee?'
'I have a question for you. How is it that a human could be giving off a faint spark signature?'
'A human couldn't Bumblebee. That is unless they somehow contained a park within their body which is by any method known impossible.'
'Okay. Thanks.'
"What'd he say?" Sam asked hearing the radio clear up like it always did when they conversations between autobots ended.
"There is no way a human should have a spark signature unless they had a spark which is impossible." Bumblebee stated clearly. "However I trust my scanners enough to know that was a spark signature."
"We'll talk to her tomorrow Bee. In fact I have an idea. Andrea has this cool ability she calls dive. She can send a sort of hologram into a machine and figure out all kinds of things about it. She could try that with you and you can talk to her." Sam said with a grin.
