Personality

Personality: Akako is a no nonsense canine. She doesn't tolerate anyone acting out of turn and will be quick to put back in line, except pups and young ones, where she is firm but not harsh. Under the stoic features she does really care for others, but she doesn't show it often. She had a major stubborn streak, it takes a good amount of persuading to change her mind. She will never be cruel to anyone, unless they've pushed her major buttons far too many times, it takes a lot for that to happen. Not the most level headed, but her emotions don't tend get in the way of her thinking logically(that is unless her stubbornness keeps her from hearing other opinions) She feels most comfortable in groups than being alone. Akako also has a good curiosity streak, which can sometimes get her into trouble, but also lets her discover new things.
Likes: Soft grass, shade, bird chirps, hunting, watching over pups, mutual respect
Dislikes: Rudeness, rotten smells, being alone for long periods
Quirks: On occasion has a strange hiccup, the more aware she is of this, the more often it happens

History
Akako was born from a black wolf female and a malamute male, named after the red star that her mother always favored in the night sky. Her mom grew very sick though soon after delivering her, her sister, and her brother, and soon died. Their dad was a good father though, finding a substitute mom for the pups to nurse from, and teaching them everything he knew. He told them all about their mother, who was very kind and loved children. Her dad didn't have very much patience for the pups play though, so they learned very quickly to sit quietly and observe rather than play all day. Kenna, who looks very much like their dad, learned quickly how to hunt. Making their dad praise her often, and gave her a big head. Nicolas and Akako were slower, but learned to pay attention to details. With Kenna's big head, Akako grew quite annoyed with her sister, and doesn't hang around her often. Her brother Nicolas, who looks very much like their mom, she is quite fond of, and can often be seen conversing with him.

Akako sniffed the ground again. That tricky rabbit wasn't going to get away from her, she was going to win this game. Nicolas had challenged her to a contest on who could catch a rabbit and get back to the meet point first. She was bound and determined to win, she-

A moment on her left made her still and turn her head slowly. A small distance away she locks on her target. The rabbit. Small, young, but a rabbit was a rabbit. Akako's muscled tensed as she prepared to pounce. Suddenly the rabbit looked up and sniffed the wind, looking straight at her for a moment before taking off. "Damn wind change" she growled as she took off in a hard run after the rabbit. It swerved and ducked and dived, Akako nearly lost it several times, but then the rabbit twisted the wrong direction. Akako lunged, snapping up the small thing in her jaws. It squealed and thrashed a moment before Akako shook her head vigorously, snapping it's neck and ending its suffering.

She stood still for a moment, the rabbit in her jaws as she breathed hard from her run. Taking a minuscule break before running to the meet point. She felt a surge of triumph... until she saw a black shape lying down. She growled as she approached the black canine, spitting out her rabbit. "How in hell did you get one before me?! I'm faster than you!" she snarled. The male just chuckled and pulled the rabbit close to him with a paw. "I'll never tell sis." the bulky black dog chided as he stood, picking up both rabbits by their ears, and headed towards a big sunny clearing. Akako huffed and followed to sun bathe while Nicolas ate his prizes. She'll get him next time.....
