Over to the picture itself:
It looks gorgeous
The colours are very vibrant and clear which really brings the scene to life.
Jasmine looks great (her condition not taken into account) the way her hair lies across her face in particular gives the picture a feel of being real.
And the way the Lief holds her and has a hand beneath her cheek is really stirring and his expression looks great, the way the tear trails down and he has teeth shown in anger portrays his feelings excellently.
A kiss would certainly have been poignant but I actually think it works better this way here, it shows how angry he is while still treating her tenderly

Ah don't worry, this is just request <3 It was order about Romeo-and-Juliet-type-scene~ Nothing in books except moment when Jasmine was wounded by poisoned arrow (I almost cried in this moment ;A; )
