Description A figurative representation of a shoe that's supposed to look old and beaten up. It's air drying grey clay. It's poor material and has been chipping lately and will be gone soon probably. That is why there are white marks on it.

Nice shoe there, I work with clay too but I never tried air drying clay, I always get my pieces fired, they last forever that way. I made a shoe too and used the same tecnique as you did, with slabs, but fired, you can find it in my galery.

Since your shoe is chipping, you should try firing it, if the clay is good for it, the paint or the stain you used will be gone but you can paint it over, it will last much longer.
