Jamie admits he doesn’t have a lot of battle prowess… but he still didn’t expect things to turn out like this. Jamie panted as the enraged Luxio charged at him again, electricity wreathing the lion pokemon’s frame. He didn’t think he could take anymore, but he still got in position to try another Revelation Dance to see if he could take the Luxio down before it took him down. The moves collided and… Jamie whimpered as more electricity coursed through his body, he felt like he was on fire, feathers singed. The Luxio simply shook off the damage and this time readied a Thunder Fang. Jamie couldn’t move, couldn’t even try to defend himself, and with a cry the electrified fangs went straight into his wing, more electricity coursing through his body. It hurt, it hurt until there was suddenly nothing.
It was dark and quiet and cold. Was this what death was like? Jamie didn’t think he’d find that out any further than what his Ghost typing allowed but… He was so tired. Maybe he should just… stay here… But… no, no he couldn’t do that. Aeon would be heartbroken, so would Bea and the others. And he had to make sure that Luxio didn’t do more damage! Who’s to say it would stop at him? No, he had to go back! He had to wake up! He had to make sure they would all be okay!
It was with that thought in mind that what felt like another surge of electricity went through him, only this time… it felt like it was in his control. It wasn’t painful, but energizing.
Jamie woke up to find his body changed, and the Luxio long gone. But he was still here. Perhaps not alive, going off the bones he could now see, but here nonetheless. And he would make sure he utilized this new form and power to protect his family on the ranch.
