It almost didn't let me submit this. o.o;

Anyway!

This is Matthew, my entry for the Modern Assassin contest. It's actually a spin off of an old character of mine that needed to be revamped anyway (so after the contest I'll probably draw him again)

Matthew was adopted and raised in the ways of the Creed. But while assassintating people makes the world a better place, it doesn't pay the rent, so he took a job as a pizza delivery boy, much to his parents' chagrin. They often tell him that a true assassin doesn't need a second job. XD But the pizza delivery gig has its perks, since he can get into places fairly easily with the whole "someone in this building ordered a pizza!" schtick. 8D

He got the job through a friend so...no ID needed!

Matthew mostly uses his hidden blades, though he has a wire in the bottom of his backpack that he can use for silent kills and to set up traps (trip lines, etc.) His hidden blades are made from polycarbonate so they don't set off metal detectors, and they are disguised as arm guards.

He can use throwing knives, poison, etc. but NO GUNS, since they're harder to hide especially if they have a silencer on them, and without the silencer they're way too loud. (plus he wouldn't be able to get a liscence)

He used to have a bike that got stolen, so now he has to run everywhere, but hey, he lives in a big city full of congested traffic and he can free run, so he probably gets around faster, anyway.

I tried to base his outfit using the colors and shapes from Altair and Ezio's outfit, so the white hood, of course, and the red suspenders from his work unifrom that he never wears properly act as the red sash (because a real red sash would be conspicuous). The jacket signifies that he's not a master assassin yet. I wanted to make his shoes brown, but...it didn't work out, so they're grey instead.

Oh dear, word vomit. And yes, I know, the shading is terrible and looks like a four year old did it. XD
