Description

The tiers haven't been glued together yet as I'm still trying to figure out what brickwork pattern I want on the top.
I've begun making the base. Atm there is a 12" square cork tile glued onto 4 scrap 1.8 mm MDF. Once that has dried I will be adding strips of cork tiles to finish off the surface.
You can see some of the mistakes and miscuts on the foam. The more noticable ones will be covered up with course turf The rest will be sanded back and hopefullly the granite effect texture will hide most of it.

I also took a page out of Black Magic Craft and bought some Mod Podge. Those 5mm squares have a tendancy to break off, so hopefully the Mod Podge will minimise any breakages that will occur over time.
