i love how your actual facial expression isn't changing. like, you're not actually smiling for the one with the smile, your eyes are relaxed for all of the photos.

Um, I had just bought a secondhand poloroid camera, so I was into polaroid photos at that time. And I've already done a project with models holding photos of famous people in front of their heads, so the idea kinda just popped in.

Not really. I just played with the perception of the human mind which sees whatever has taken for granted, even if it's not there. Smiling eyes for example, because you can see smiling lips, even if they're actually expressionless.
